Has SP2 been released? I found surf.dat and Kk32.dll in
my registry ... MS has been quoted "those with SP2 are
not at risk". I can't find SP2 to download. Whazzup?

SP2 is not yet available.

Special note if you use AOL:

America Online installs its own connection settings that override
the ones that come with Windows XP. America Online's
connection settings don't include a way to turn on Windows XP's
built-in firewall.

Thanks for the helpful hints. I just installed Trend
Micro Internet Security and its firewall is the one that
alerted me to exactly what was attempting to be sent to a
remote host. I had Zone Alarm and, although it alerted me
to issues, it didn't identify it as private data stuff.
