Is there any way to suppress the "The network path was not found" error
message which comes when a mapped network drive to a remote share is
offline? The computer doesn't continue booting until you have pressed OK
which is very annoying. You would think there where a registry setting
of some sort that can disable this error message?!?!

Instead of relying on remembered connections, you should use
a logon script. It has several advantages:
- You have far better control over your mapped drives.
- The script will not pause if the share is unavailable.
- You can suppress any or all messages, or modify them
to your liking.
