I want to export a report as an rtf file, but want it as a continuous
document with no page breaks. How can I achieve this?

If you view your .rtf file in normal view in Word, it will appear as a
continuous document - the page breaks will be indicated by dotted lines, but
margin white space will not be shown.

Thanks Ted, but it's not just viewing it that's the issue - I want to
re-import it into another application with a different layout, so I need to
completely remove the page break characters from the document and have one
continuous long page.

Try this: Open the rtf file with a plain text editor, e.g. Notepad, and
replace all instances of {\page} with nothing. I did a quick test, and the
result is perfectly acceptable to Word. Would be nice to use an editor that
you can automate from VBA.

Ted, appreciate your reply - in the end I did manage to edit the document
within Word doing a global 'search and replace' on the page break character.
I had hoped to be able to export it directly from Access in the right format,
but c'est la vie - sometimes a little fiddling is necessary!

Thanks again

Richard
