supported files

i download my pictures with corel photo album6,when there's a short video
(file .avi) , iuse a cannon powershot s2 si by the way.when i try to open the
avi file with paint shop pro 10 i get a not supported type why is this ty
hambone
 
Paint Shop Pro 10 is for still images only.
Since you are on XP, open Window Media Player and then open your avi file
with it.

ahhh ty makes since i did open it other ways ty . i was trying to open the file to see if possible to take stills from the clip, but since found away to do it with screen capture again ty (e-mail address removed) if you have a better way for this ty
