Support Rules for hotmail inbox

It would be very handy if Outlook rules could automatically run on messages
in my msn inbox, which I have in Outlook via the Outlook Connector.

The fact that the Outlook connector allows access to webmail does not change
the fact that Hotmail/MSN is webmail.

I agree, but have you considered implementing the rules on the server side?
See "Automatically sort e-mail into folders" under your Hotmail Options.
