Hi:
I'm trying to make an image that supports as much devices as XP pro
does.
At least, I need to support every XP pro supported printer.
I've been trying to add all printer components that are in the
repositories (there are thousands of components), but when I try to
check the dependencies of these components, the system get's bloqued
(first, a "virtual memory too low" message is shown, and a little bit
later, the PC blocks).
I've seen in this group, that someone suggested, for a similar
problem, to copy the driver.cab from XP pro to the Embedded image. Is
this legal? I mean, Would it be some licensing problem using this
solution? if not, how could I indicate in the image that all drivers
are in the .cab?
Thanks in advance.
Mikel.

Mikel,

Check www.xpefiles.com (Development Utilities/Main folder). XPProEmulation
and Printers projects may be what you're looking for.
However, you will still need much RAM on your dev.machine to play with the
projects in TD.
