Support for 64bit

Running XP64 and just tried installing Synctoy and PhotoStory - no dice. I
think it's sad the Bill Gates says the future of computing is 64 bit but they
can't port software that's been out for a while to their own 64 bit O/S's.

Reading another post, I tried Allway and it works like a charm. Microsoft
should be outright emberassed that other software compaines are writing
better software to use on their O/S than they are.

It's a shame really. I've been a huge supporter of MS until lately. I hope
they manage to pull their collective heads out of their posteriors real soon.

Support for 64-bit was an oversight in the 1.4 release. Sorry about the
inconvenience. It will be fixed in the next upcoming release of SyncToy.

Meanwhile, you can try a workaround suggested by an earlier poster. The
custsat.dll in the SyncToy folder is the cause of the failure. If you can
replace it with a 64-bit version it should work (apparently they got it from
the Network Monitor 3.0 bits).

I will give this a try and see if that works.

I'm sorry for the criticism, but it seems MS has had a lot of "oversight"
for their XP64 customers and all I keep getting is "we will have it soon".
Then three more months goes by - "we'll have it soon" - you get the picture.

I refuse to go back to 32 bit - it's just that fast.
