Is there beta Windows 2003 64bit or Windows XP 64 trial drivers available
for the K8V? If not, when can your loyal customers expect ASUS to have them
available?

Don't waste your time mailing Asus, as they have stopped reading their
email, due to the volume of spam. If you want to contact them, try the
phone.

As for drivers, the drivers are, for the most part, created by the
companies that make the chips. Many of these companies refuse to run
their own download sites, and so Asus is just doing the hosting of the
drivers on their download site. If the chip makers see virtue in having
a 64 bit driver, they'll write one. They only write drivers, if it
will increase sales for them.

It is better this way, because if you look at the quality of software
that Asus makes, be glad they don't write the drivers :-)

You can bet near all companies have beta drivers for WXP64 written, but not
all make them available. You are probably correct about ASUS not writing
their own drivers, but they should make more beta drivers available. I
repect nVidia for their effort in supporting new beta software. I made a
choice a few weeks ago on purchasing a 9980 vs ATI top card, I chose nVidia
because i would rather lose a little speed and get stability and driver
support.

nvidia just released new drivers a couple days ago at

and you can try the drivers people have posted over at
http://www.planetamd64.com/

Off topic

Yes I went to these sites, but I still have not found sound drivers for the
K8V. And big question, DOES WinXP64 use the same driver base as the
Win2003Server64???
 
You checked out the sound drivers at Planet AMD64 and it didnt work? Odd it
worked fine on my onboard sound. As for the 2003-64, cant tell ya. Till today I
didnt realise it was x-86 compatiable ;)

Ya, I did, they have realtek drivers. I though K8V uses SoundMax, do those
realtek drivers work?
