A friend has a machine with a Supersocket 7 100MHz Motherboard and AMD
K611-3D processor. It is said to support 512Mb in 2 slots but has 184
installed. She would like to fully populate it. Can anyone please tell me
what memory spec to buy if still available?

Low density 256meg PC100, unbuffered, NonECC, Unregistered, 16 Chips double
sided. Micron is a good source and it'll be around $28-$30 each, assuming
pricewatch is right and there aren't gotchas once at the dealer's site.

Sounds like the existing RAM is 128Meg plus 64Meg for 192Meg total with
8Meg used for shared memory on-board video, which is unfortunate because
shared memory video seriously hurts performance. A cheap 12 buck AGP 2x
16Meg NVidia Riva TNT2. or a dual head Matrox Millennium G450, would be a
significant improvement. 20 bucks could get you a 32MB nVIDIA GeForce2 MX200.
