Super 8 to video

I am sure this has been answered before, but I cannot find the answer. I am
attempting to rerecord our old super 8 home movies onto dvd. I am trying to
record them with a Sony MiniDV handycam. I can capture the images ok, exept
for the pulsing of the video, I assume this has to do with the frames/minute,
but how do you compensate and or elliminate the pulsing? I am using windows
movie maker.

tweak the frame rate of the film projector, assuming you're shooting from a
projected image.

If it is what I think it is there is an anbtiflicker filter made for
virtualdub
