How can I stop the window coming asking me to sign up for supa net. It comes on everytime I start my computer. I press escape and it goes. I have checked the start up folder and there is no sign of it in there.

What you're describing sounds very much like adware. Get Spybot S&D
and HijackThis (both free), with help from SWI Forums. Start here for

Here's a caveat: If this one ad comes up consistently, I'd bet it's
tied pretty firmly to something you installed. If you disable the
adware, some other program may break. Both HijackThis and Spybot have
settings that let you save what you disable, in case something breaks
that you want back. Check the settings, and make sure the "make
backup before fixing" option is enabled before you fix something.

Go into "MSCONFIG" type that in your run line off the start menu (exclude
the quotes) then on the "startup" tab, look for the name off the file
"supanet" and uncheck it, this will stop it from starting up but it will
always technically be there. If you want to remove it from MSCONFIG, go into
REGEDIT off the run line and do a search for the whole file name .aka.
(supanet.exe??? etc.... and delete it

I'm guessing that you've bought a Time Computer system - my parents have
one, and Supanet is the ISP software preinstalled with the PC. You should be
able to get it off your system via Add / Remove Programs in Control Panel.
