Sunday as first day of the week

I went into Tools->Options->calendar options to change the start of the week,
but somehow it would not accept Sunday as 1st day of the week. It does show
the work-week (5 days display) correctly, but not the 7-day and 31-day
displays. The funny thing is, it accepts correctly any day defined as the
1st day of the week, except Sunday!

Did anyone encounter this? I'm on an IBM Intel with XP SP2, running Outlook
2003.

To show Saturday and Sunday in separate boxes in the month view, choose View
| Current View | Customize Current View | Other Settings > clear the box for
"Compress weekend days." There is no comparable setting for the 7-day view.
