Sun

Dude...

If I had my own sun, things would be way more epic.

Sorry, I don't understand the question and am too lazy to look it up right now. :D

He's talking about the Sun tabloid newspaper, they are launching the paper on a Sunday here in good o'l Blighty

the only Papers I buy, I use to wipe my arse on ... :)

Typical that Mr Mucks would bring his bottom into the conversation:D:lol:. I changed some time ago to buying the "I" paper which I think is good value for 20p and is very balanced.:thumb:

Ah, The Sun, popular in Merseyside isn't it? ;)

Or The Scum, as it's known by me.

I would rather suck vomit through a sweaty sock than buy the Scum.

Only 'paper with any credence as far as I'm concerned is The Guardian and I don't buy that either.

I will make a prediction that when my 'babyboomer' generation dies out, so will printed newspapers.

I think it is getting close to that even now floppy as even the local papers have web news now as do the national press, it will be a shame as there is nothing like and feel of books and the written word. It is tactile and the feel of the paper it is written on and the smell of the paper and ink. But you are right I also think that books and news papers will disappear after our generation:(

I remember saying the same thing to a chap as we were sitting on the beach in San Remo,Italy. I think he worked for the Mirror. I said to him that in a few years papers will be a thing of the past, and that was over 35 years ago!! They are still with us. But I like reading a newspaper.

I know a guy who works for the Daily Mirror in their distribution department at the Canada Tower in London's Canary Wharf who can more or less confirm what I said. He tells me that as the ageing readership slowly peg out one by one so their circulation dwindles.

I haven't bought a newspaper now for about fifteen years, was raised with The Daily Mirror in my home and the last paper I read regularly was The Guardian. No need, really, I can read most anything I want online.

And where I used to read a newspaper now I read a book. And they may soon be replaced by a Kindle or similar, not sure about that yet, I do like books, must admit.

I do sometimes pick up the freebie newspaper The Metro when travelkling by train and it just reminds me of why I stopped reading them. Full of tosh about so-called celebrities. Trouble is, I haven't watched TV for just about as long as I haven't read newspapers so I honestly don't know who these 'celebrities' are, lol

I do know who Posh and Becks are though, see, right up to date I am ;)
