I'm using XP2 IE 6. Installed JRE 1.5 as offline installation.
Tested etc. as recommended on this site. Works fine BUT only in
administrator account that installed it.
In all other limited accounts get the message JRE... not installed properly.
Turned on all the check boxes as recommended in IE and Java Control Panel;
tried putting the applet into 'all users' - no success.
Can anybody out there help?

Hmmm...Java works fine in both my Limited User accounts. In Internet
Explorer, go to Tools - Internet Options - Advanced tab and see if there's a
check mark in the Java section. Also look at the user's security settings -
has Java been disabled?

Hi,
Yes, all enabled in limited user accounts. Did the browser test, and that
came up okay. Nevertheless java doesn't run in those accounts.
When I call up the Java control panel from the ltd. accounts and go to
'advanced' - applet tag support - the 'Internet Explorer' box is not
checked, although I checked it as administrator - in the administrator
account, it is still checked.

I have also enabled: 'Use browser settings' in the Java Control Panel - but
no use.
Does anybody have an answer?
