I am trying to Hook up a Sun StorEdge D1000 to a Windows 2000 Server
using a x6541a card.

I used windows update to install drivers for the card Identified as
two "Symbios Logic 875xs|D, 2280X PCI SCSI Adapter" Once that finsih
installing, Windows detected 2 "Symbios D1000 SCSI Processor Device"
But could not find drivers to complete the installation.

Has anyone ever been sucessful with this configuration? Does anyone
know of a location for any drivers I need? Is the Symbios D1000
device, part of the card or is it now detecting the actual D1000
Drive?

Thank you In advace for any help you can provide.

Try disconnecting the drive and see if it still detects under hardware
detection. I'm pretty sure this dialog will go away if you disconnect the
drive, which means the driver needed is for the D1000 drive.
