I have made sheets for recommendation from incidents in a site. Each
incident has many recommendations. I have used conditional formatting " and
formula" to let me know if the due date is passed for the recommendation.

Similarly in the summary sheet I want to at one glance ensure that all
recommendations have been carried out or not. by some formula or conditional
formatting. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

We would need to know more - what on the summary sheet determines if all
recommendations have been carried out. What does you data layout look like?

A very general solution:

Use the condition Formula is and enter

=AND($A$1:$A$6="Passed")

Where to meet all the recommendations all cells in the range A1:A6 must
contain Passed.

Thanks Shane,

My new job entails me using excel extensively and I am finding this
application thrilling.

The individual sheets are basically corrective actions with target dates. I
have used conditional formatting in those sheets to tell me if the due date
has passed or not using the formula = and A2<= today(),b2"" to change fill
color of cell to alert me.
The summary sheet has a list of all incidents with corrective action
recommendations. My idea is with one glance we should be able to know if any
incidents have corrective actions overdue.

Individual sheet layout:
sr no recommendations action by target date

summary sheet layout:

sr no incidents recommedations status( complete, overdue, pending)

at present I am going thru every sheet and typing in the status. Just
thought if any way to get the data from the sheets to one sheet.
