MSAS freeze/lockup during the definition updates.

On the select Drives or Folder to scan when clicking the
tree view over and over again make the content of the (C)
drive duplicates.

there should be a reset statistic for the Quick Stats.

on the sytem summary MSAS tm should replace the yellow
star image with something like green check instead.
yellow star if its active come on give me a break.

Faster sweeps, MSAS scan on context menu, better menu
option on the systetray.

automatically deletes each quarantined item after the
number of days i set it to.

animated icon on systemtray when MSAS is real-time
protection is all disabled

If you are using a dial-up connection to download the
updates, then it will seem to freeze/hangup, as mine did
when I was using a dial-up connection. The reason for
this is that most of the updates are 1.5 to 2.5 megabytes
in size. The data store rate for most connections is
1/8th the connection speed, since one byte equals 8 bits,
and 1 kbps equals .125 KBps. Therefore, at a common dial-
up connection speed of 46 kbps, it'll take about 3 mins
7.5 s to 5 mins 12.5 s to complete the download. Just
let the program download the update, and you should be
fine.

Just updating my last reply.

If the average storage rate on some dial-up connections
is between 3.5 KB/s to 5.5 KB/s. This means that the
fastest average download will take about 4 mins 33 s, and
the slowest average download will take about 7 mins 9 s.
Just remember that these times are averages, as I have
seen download rates below 1 KB/s on some of my downloads
in the past.
