Well, hopefully you folks at Microsoft read these because
I don't know of any other way to make a suggestion.

When a green information windows comes up stating "A
browser has been installed..." and goes onto say that "a
browser is a program installed on IE that allows full
control over IE", the information window should tell you
WHAT the name of the program was before asking whether to
allow it or not. When I installed the new Google
Toolbar, this message came up and of course I allowed it,
but then it came up again and I really have no idea what
it was for this time around. Please add the name to the
information window.

Microsoft does read these groups--this is the right place for this
feedback--thanks!

Dear Bill

I am now using Ad Aware and Spybot scans with MSAS
running all the time. This has cleaned my system up and
appears to catch incursions. I had problems with the
VX.abetterinternet that MSAS wouldnt fix and Adaware did
(observation not a citicism) I still get the VX2 mal
ware showing up as entries in files and registry(adaware)
so maybe this can be fixed in the future. Spybot picked
up some DSO but now these have disappeared. My NAV 2002
version seems to have stopped scanning emails since MSAS
was installed and havent got to the bottom of this yet.

I look forward to future updates and improvements

Regards
Lewis

Thanks for the report. I'm not sure what is happening with the antivirus
email scanning, either.
