Suggestion for Microsoft Antispyware

Well folks, I'm glad to hear that this program has
finally been created. I've been waiting for a Microsoft
antispyware tool. What I would like to see though is a
startup item removal to use instead of just disabling
startup items with MSCONFIG. I do use a tool called
Startup Control Panel at www.mlin.net to do this but
would like to see one in a spyware tool (other than
Spybot) but gives you a backup option so you can recover
changes. What do you think of this suggestion? The
tool "Hijackthis" sometimes gets a little too risky to
use for removal of startup items even though I'm
comfortable using it.

That should actually be a built in executable in Windows to access instead
of a separate solution from Microsoft or a third party tool. I understand
what you mean, but so far msconfig from the run command is fine.

Isn't that what the Startup list is under Advanced Tools
in the new MS antispyware program?
