Both netzero and juno have decided to stop allowing their mail to be
retrieved by Outlook Express. I need a free email address that I can
retrieve mail using both OE and get my mail on the web.

I tried hotpop but you cant read your mail on the web, only on OE.
Any suggestions?

Thanks......

maybe ask the folks at
microsoft.public.outlook
comp.mail.misc

did you use a search engine to look around for web mail sites?

I use hotmail in my outlook express and also read and write on the web.
www.hotmail.com
2MBytes - must be accessed at least once a month
free.
I also use it for newsgroup, but my public addr is
(e-mail address removed)
which redirects relevant messages to my hotmail,
and filters spam away.

Set-up a Yahoo email account & use YahooPOPs ( http://yahoopops.sourceforge.net/ ) to access it
with your email client.

Try http://www.fastmail.fm for an excellent free email acct. with 10mb
storage, webmail, and OE access via IMAP.....and many advanced features
including collection of mail from external POP accts. and the ability to
bounce messages.

can you give me directions for setting up outlook express for yahoo.ca?
do you just put "pop.yahoo.ca" as with other accounts?
thanks.

Yeah, that hotmail integration works great. Elmira, just join hotmail on its
website, and then add it to your accounts in OE. It sychs with their
webmail.

In (e-mail address removed), this is what Elmira had to say :

I'm surprised no one has mentioned http://Fastmail.fm especially if you're
looking for an IMAP provider. Lots of domains to choose from are an added
bonus. It also has a free email notification tool called Fastcheck. Plus,
the ability to pull email from POP3 & Hotmail addresses. Naturally, their
paid services are far better with a 2 GB mailbox scheduled to debut by the
end of SEP 2004.

www.VFEmail.net is also a good free provider with a 15 MB mailbox with
antivirus checking + POP / IMAP / SMTP.

www.Bluebottle.com offers a huge 250 MB of space + POP / IMAP / SMTP + NO
ADs + optional Challenge / Response anti-spam system and the ability to pull
email from POP3 & Hotmail addresses!
