Suggested Default Printer

I would like to set my reports to print to a specific network printer by
default. I don't want to prevent users from choosing a different printer,
but just make sure that the network printer is reset as the default the next
time the report is opened.

Is this possible in A2K?

If you have that network printer available on your machine, and your
operating system and printer drivers are identical to those of your users,
you could open the report in design view, and choose Page Setup from the
File menu. Then choose Specific Printer on the middle tab. Save the change,
and that becomes the default printer for that specific report. (However, if
there is any difference between the workstations, this may not work.)

For an alternative approach see in Access 2000:

or for anyone else who is using Access 97:

Another approach is to use PrtMip:

And this one works for Access 2002 or 2003:

Many thanks Mr. Browne.
