Suggest alternate anti-virus

I'm using avg7 and should be continued to use. But I want to install 1
more av. This av doesn't need to stay in resident, I just use it to
double check in case avg7 missed...

I'm using laptop so no disk drive :(
Any suggestion?

Bitdefender is a quite good a/v which offers a free on-demand scanner.

Remember please that using two resident a/v scanners will very likely cause
havoc on your computer. For more information see: --

I use both AVG7 with Avast and they play nicely together.
 
Stopping support AVG 6. They just issued a new, free AVG 7. See other recent
threads in this group.
