Sue,

It's hard to go on under the previous thread.

Anyway, I found the security tag by turning on the
advanced feature. I gave the permission to me to SendAs
another person. I also removed the Send On Behalf
permission. Re-run the code I posted before. The email
was sent out. But the From is still another person not
me. The SentOnBehalfOfName only replays the display
name. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Please don't start a new thread leaving out all the key information in the
old one.

So, on the Properties dialog for another user, you gave your own account
Send As permission over that user? Then you created and sent a message
setting SentOnBehalfOf name to the your own mail alias? Exactly what did the
From on the *received* message say? Try again in 2 hours. Permissions can
take a while to propagate.

Sue,

I'll have to do this on Monday morning. :-)

The From field on the "received" message only has another
person's display name.

Bingo<[email protected]>
AnotherGuy<[email protected]>

Before I send out the email, I call Display method. The
From field has Bingo as the display name. But you click
on it, it shows AnotherGuy's info on Exchange. Once it's
sent out and received, The display name in the From field
is AnotherGuy and the info is his info as well.

Sorry for starting this new thread. Have a good
weekend!

Try not clicking on it. See if SentOnBehalfOfName will do its work if you
don't fiddle with it in the open message.

Sue,

Once the email was displayed, I clicked on Send button
directly without checking the From name. The email was
still sent out under another person's name not mine.

Sue,

Not sure if you are still keeping an eye on this thread.
But it seems that SentOnBehalfOfName is the same as
PR_SENDER_NAME. Since the other PR_Sender_XXX are not
changed, once I sent out the email, The sender is reset
back to the original sender. Any recommendations?
Thanks.
