Sue Mosher Please - Sent items hidden after import from NS4 to OE6

Sue, I hope you can help. I'm trying to import Netscape 4.79 email
messages into Outlook Express 6.0, and then on to Outlook2003.
I've spent DAYS on this! After trying many different ways to do this,
most times I don't see the messages in the folders after import to
OE6. The folders are always there, just not the messages. During the
import however, the status box shows everything moving over.
Somehow I was successful on one computer, but I can't get it to
work on the second. If I do see the messages after import, I can
go to another folder and then back again and they've disappeared.
The way I was finally able to get it to work completely on the first
computer so that I could get them on into Outlook2003, was if I
could click from folder to folder in OE6 and the messages didn't
disappear. Now about these "Sent Items"... I've gotten all folders
with all messages moved into Outlook2003 except for the sent items.

What's going on with these disappearing messages? If I look in
Windows Explorer they're all there with appropriate Kbyte sizes.
What the heck am I missing here? Is there something special
about sent items?

You should ask in an OE group about any issues related to importing to OE6.
It doesn't sound like you have any problem with the Outlook part of the
process.
