Sue Barnhill? Re Enable/Disable Macros at launch?

Thank you both, Suzanne and Graham.

I HAVE found the template PALMAPP.DOT in my C:\Program
Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\Startup folder. But
before I delete it, I think I'd like to try making it from
a trusted source, if I can.

I've also found 3 macros -- PalmAppAddress.MAIN ,
PalmAppMemo.MAIN , and PalmAppToDo.MAIN -- in my list of
Word macros.

I've looked at the Word Help under "Modify the list of
trusted sources for macros", but don't know where/how to
find the Security Warning box it mentions (at item #3),
and -- so -- don't know how to select "Always trust macros
from this source".

I thought we had addressed this elsewhere?
The simplest plan is to move the file to the Word startup folder, where it
will only work with Word and will not flag a warning.
As for the security warning box - that is the box that flags up when you
start Word that caused you to write in in the first place. If there is going
to be a 'trust me' check box, it will be on that warning dialog.

There's a good chance that PALMAPP.DOT is not doing anything for
you. If so, you could remove it from the Office Startup folder.
