My Sony Cybershot is less than a year old and has been great so far. I
last used it on Thanksgiving, then downloaded those pics and put the
camera on my dresser (where it sits when not in use). I just picked it
up again last week to discover it not working. When I turn it on either
the photograph or video function, it beeps and says "Turn power off and
back on." I've done this to no avail. I tried changing the battery and
pressing the reset button, but it still isn't working. I'm not sure if
it's under warranty because I recently moved and can't find any
paperwork. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there any hope for this
little camera of mine?

Does it have a memory stick in it?

This happened to me once after I had dropped my Sony. I did what it said and
all was well. My guess is that it is some very minor thing, such as a loose
connection with the battery or the memory card.
