Suddenly can't print?

We are using Windows XP and Office 2003. One of our users
has found that she can suddenly no longer print from
Access. When you click the Print button on the toolbar or
from the File menu, nothing happens. Hovering over the
Print button gives us a [no printers] message. However,
she does have printers set up and one of them is set as
her default printer. Any idea what could be wrong? This
error began occurring after we installed Avery Media
Software on her computer.

I've tried both of those, but still no luck. Here's some
more info I just got from her, though. She can print just
fine from other Office applications, just not Access. As
well as being unable to print, she cannot bring up Print
Preview or Page Setup, either. Also, Avery has nothing to
do with it. She told me she had never attempted to print
from Access on that computer before, so this is likely a
problem that has been there since we (recently) installed
XP on it (clean install).

It could be a faulty printer driver, of course.

But that would not account for Access believing there are no printers
installed. Presumably if she opens the Windows Control Panel | Printers, she
can see all the printers listed there.

You might get her to open the Immediate Window (Ctrl+G), and enter:
? Application.Printers.Count
to see if it really returns zero.
If so, it would seem to be an Office problem.
If not, the problem may be with the driver.
