Hi
I've had my computer a year with everything working fine
until about 2 mos.ago when:
1st when trying to open Media Player 9 nothing happened.
I checked for viruses, got Spybot and AdAware which
found alot of stuff and fixed them. Still couldn't open
the player so did a system Restore and now can use it
everyway except it will only burn a music cd ~ 1 in 20
attempts. Often I get this error- OxCOOD11AB. I've tried
using different brands of cd-r's,selecting slower write
speeds,reinstalling Media Player over itself,uninstalled
and reinstalled the driver for the burner,& always get
latest updates for everything. The burner used to always
make a certain amount of noise when burning and doesn't
now. When I go to the drive, right click to Properties,
it always says the drive is functioning properly.
HELP. I at a complete loss. Does anyone know anything
else I can check? Please help if you know anything.
Thanks, Dana
