Suddenly 8500DV won't capture

After working fine for a few days, capturing regardless of parameters,
shows the normal recording controls except the time doesn't increment.
Looking at the capture directory shows a 24k file with the expected name.
I've checked disk space params etc.

Sounds like an old capture problem that was reported in the Rage3D

I had the problem once before and it was related to the fact that you
couldn't install on one kind of disk and capture to another (FAT/NTFS)

That may be what the thread is about? I'll go look later, thanks. For the
moment, a reboot brought it back.
