Sudden switch in keyboard layout

For some reason, my ' " ' key and my '@' key suddenly switched in the middle
of a session in MS Word 2002, and I have no idea how to change it back. They
work normally in all other applications. Does anyone know how to resolve this?
 
You have the wrong language keyboard selected. Correct this under Control
Panel | Regional Options | Input Locales.
