I'm running XP Pro and have not had any issues for well
over a year with it.
Suddenly, after the latest MS update downloads from last
week (July 14-July 18), my computer boots up at least 3 X
slower than before.
And, after it boots, the mouse is jumpy and doesn't move
smoothly across the screen like it did before.
The performance gets really slow when I attempt to run
two programs at once. When I check the Task Manager, I
don't see anything abnormal with the CPU usage or with
any rouge processes.
Is anyone else experiencing this recent slowdown on their
machine since the last MS updates?
