Sudden shutdown.. Auto saved earlier version, where would the file

Hi... so I spent quite a bit of time working on a project for school with
WMM... like weeks on and off. Yesterday I was on the computer from about 9am
to 3:30pm when my computer froze and I had to reboot. I opened WMM and the
proper version came up, I didn't even lose a frame. About an hour later my
computer froze again and I did the exact same reboot but the reload unsaved
project option never came up when I re-opened WMM. The only version I have
now is the one I had two days ago before I started doing any work on it
yesterday. I have searched everywhere for it!

Do you know where I can locate the file as I know for a fact it was saved
less than 24hrs ago or is it a lost cause?
 
Probably a lost cause.
Lesson learned, don't rely on autosave - Save your work frequently to avoid
such issues.

This is worth a shot try system restore it will clear up a problem but not
erase your info.....worth a shot
