Hi

Since this morning my D-Link DWL900AP+ wireless router does not assign
an IP address through DHCP to my Laptop. As a consequence W2K assigns
itself a defaults address (169.256...) which of course does not work.
The other connected computed works however fine, and the laptop itself
connects finely to another router with (working) DHCP IP assigning.

Everything went fine for months until yesterday 8PM, and I did not
change anything in the configuration.

Has anyone experienced such a problem with a D-Link router and W2K?
Any clues very welcome...

thanks

Alex.

Have you checked the D-Link admin utility to see if it's still set for DHCP?
Do you have a D-Link utility on W2K machine that can show you if the AP is
accessible (signal strength etc).
Try rebooting the AP...
