I subscribe to "terabyteunlimited" newsgroup and have for a long time (The
are behind the software BootIt Next Generation and other imaging programs).
No password or user name was used . . . until a couple of hours ago. I
clicked on the user name and an error message (480 user authentication and
password require etc.) appears supposedly from the server (the warning was
from Windows Security?) I changed nothing and I have no idea what account
name or password the message is asking for? Has a new protocol gone into
place today? I did get 5 new updates today. Would that have something to
do with it?

Terabyte is not requiring authentication when using OE6, port 1198.
Check Properties - if "requires authentication" were checked, then
you'd get that error. Right click the group and examine the tabs.

This link requires that the port be changed from 119 to 1198:

I received a reply to an email that I sent to terabyteunlimited support. It
was a problem on their end. All is running well again!

Good - it wasn't you and it wasn't WinMail.
