First, thank you to all those who gave me great advice (and lots of it) on my
Movie Maker issues. I'm pleased to say that I am 99% pleased with the final
outcome of my short film project.

The only two issues I'm having difficulty with are...

1. A slight "blip" in added music tracks at the point of insertion of any
clips.
2. Titling. It's a little tricky and each thime I think I've "got it", not
unitl the burned product is played do I find "doubles" of the title. I get it
dialed in, double check and BAM, it shows up.

How can I be sure any title duplication is actually removed even though
after clicking "add titles/done" they don't appear?

Thanks.

Louie

Glad to hear about your success!

Re #1: That is a common problem if your music
was imported from MP3 files. If that's the
case, you will probably get better results if
you convert them to WAV files first.

Also,

How does one edit the saved movie to make changes and then burn to disc. I
can't go back and make changes in movie maker. Thanks.

Great news.
On the title duplication problem, it sounds like you are inserting two
titles, which could be perhaps you are trying to change a bit of the title
and instead of changing the one you already have you end up creating another
title and inserting it as well????

OK. I think that's what I did. I go to the locationof my raw footage files
and look at the clip in question. Upon opening it I can't see the transitions
or layed in audio tracks or titling to change. These are the footage of the
downloaded AVI footage from the digital camera. This is the file before
"saving movie".

Does that help? Thanks for your help.

Louie

Yes, you're partly right.

If I remember correctly, there are three horizontal section for text input.
I was originally (on my first experiment) able to beautifully place the
desired text ino the first bax and it burned at EXACTLY that spot in the
EXACT manner in which it previewed. Awesome.

But now, I can't find (see my previous post) the location of this clip and
cannot access it to fix it. Does thathelp you help me?

Thanks!

Louie

You need to Zoom in quite a bit to view the transitions.
The zoom buttons are just above the story line.

Thanks Steve. But no go. I realize the zoomin button exists. When I open my
save dmovie, nothing exists except the ausio and viseo contained on the film.
No titles. No layed in music. No credits. Can't figure it out.

Sounds like you are opening your saved movie clip again. Did you
actually save this project as a MM project? This is entirely different
from the MM project output - which is the saved movie clip.
