SUBTOTAL

Hi,

Is there a formula I can use that will enable me to
subtotal cell amounts in column A (for example) based upon
criteria accompanying cells in column B?
Similar I guess to the existing SUBTOTAL formula - but
rather than function numbers 1 to 11, I can specify the
criteria under which the subtotal is performed.
