"Subscript out of range" error when connecting with excel workbook

I get "Subscript out of range" error when connecting with excel.

The error is intermitant though. There doesn't seem to be a clear
distinction between when it occurs and when it doesn't. The code run fine
and fails with the same set of data.

The is no change in the workbook either.

I can paste the code if you would like to see it.
