subscribe to a newsgroup

hi there:

I have tried to download some specific newsgroups posts
using OE, using for example: NNTP server address as :

microsoft.public.win2000.dns,
or

microsoft.public.win2000.group_policy

but OE couldn't connect to that server and download
messages.

do I miss some thing here?

The news server name is msnews.microsoft.com - what you've mentioned below
are the newsgroup names.

Add the the msnews server to your OE accounts, then go to it in your list,
click newsgroups, let it download them, and subscribe to what you wish.

the server address is msnews.microsoft.com or news.microsoft.com.
Then you can download the newsgroups you want.
