Problem: I need to print a list of customers. For some customers do I need
one sub record while I might need all sub records for others.
I have a report with a sub report in the detail section. A value in the
detail section is aimed to tell how many records the sub report returns. I
have tried lot of ideas but none have given me solution.
Do you have you any idea?
Thanks,
Arni L

Won't your subreport show all related records? Maybe you need to provide
some sample records and how you would expect this to appear in your
report/subreport.

Dear Duane,
You are right. I need only part of related records. In some cases 2 records
and in other cases 50 and sometimes all. I am very skilled developer with
years of experience in Access, but have not found solution yet. I hope you
can help me.
Thanks,

Dear Hookom,
I managed to solve the problem. Finally.
I added a new field to the query behind the subform. That field show an
"autonumber" from 1 and up (generated by a global function). Then I have a
criteria in the query that show all records with less "autonumber" than his
top value is. The "autonumber" field is programmed to starts at 1 for every
new record in the main report.
Thank you for your time.
Arni Laugdal.
