I've read several post related to my question but haven't been able to apply
the solutions that were offered.
I have a subreport with the field labels in the Report Header. Right now,
my report shows the Report Header fields followed by each detail record.
That works fine. But, if the number of detail records is large enough the
subreport will stretch onto a second or third page.
What I would like is for the Report Header fields to be displayed again
(once) if the records continue on more pages.
I keep seeing the following solution provided and am able to create a group
but I have never been able to find the "Field/Expression" or anything that
lets me enter a value such as =1 as has been suggested. Where do I find this?
The following is how I would like my report to be displayed (skipping the
main report info). The Qty Affected, Defect Type, & Desc. will act as the
subreport Report Header labels. For arguments sake, lets say that there are
enough details to stretch onto another page.
(Page 1)
Defect # Defect Type Desc.
1 Suface Finish Scratches are present...
2 Dimensional 10.347 ±.001 is 10.3458.....
3 Plating Should be anodized per
AMS-2471....
(etc....)
(Page 2)
Defect # Defect Type Desc.
9 Suface Finish Scratches are present...
10 Dimensional 10.347 ±.001 is 10.3458.....
11 Plating Should be anodized per
AMS-2471....
(etc....)
Please let me know if you need more info. Thanks.
