Subreport is split by page breaks

I have read several posts of people having problems with subreports
being split across pages, but have not seen any clear resolutions to
the problem. Can anyone help with this issue, or is it a known
shortcoming of the software?

I have a report that has one grouping level, and in the footer for
that grouping section are several subreports. At times, the records
in a subreport are split by a page break, and I want to prevent that.
It is not necessary that all items in the group footer stay on the
same page (it is in fact, not possible), only that the individual
subreports not get split. The subreports have varying amounts of
data, and so the "Can Grow" property is set to "yes". The subreports'
"Grp Keep Together" property is set to "Per Page", as is the
subreport's Detail section's "Keep Together" property.

What else can I try? Is what I'm trying to achieve possible? Are
others having this same issue?

Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

If you have 3 subreports to print in the Group Footer, enter the field you
are grouping on 3 times into the Sorting And Grouping dialog.

You can now have 3 Group Footer sections, all on the same field.
Place one subreport into each one.
Set the Keep Together property to Yes for each one.

Give this idea a try and see if you can get closer to what
you want. In Sorting and Grouping create three entries for
the same group you already have. Then move each subreport
to its own footer footer and set each footer section's
KeepTogether property to Yes.

Thank you Allen and Marsh -- I will give your suggestions a try,
although with 10 subreports (I know it's ugly), it will take some
work.
