HI

Access 2000 -> I put a subreport in the report header
section of a report so that it would only print at the
very beginning of the report.

Problem is it doesn't print at all! It doesn't even
appear in print preview. Only KB article I could find even
close to this was no help..

Any suggestions -> I'd sure appreciate it

Thanx
B

This would be expected if the subreport had no data. Do you have any values
in the Link Master/Child properties? I would expect these to be blank. Are
there any records if you open the subreport by itself? Is the subreport
control set Visible = Yes?

The sub report works independently.

The reports are linked on "Region"

The control and all headers and footers are set to Visible
= Yes

I've used subreports in the headers of other reports
don't I don't see that as the problem.

Thanx -> but no cigar!

Anything else you can think off

OUTSTANDING!

The underlying query for the subreport only pulled the
Atlantic Region. The main report was not similarly
restricted.

When I set that limit/restriction on the main report -
IT WORKED!

Thanx loads for your help -> I thought I'd never figure
this one out! (Actually, I guesss, I didn't -> You did!)

Thanx again

What is the value of Region in the first record of your main report? To find
out, place [Region] in your report header. Is there a matching Region in
your subreport?
