Subreport - 2 columns

Is there a way to have a sub report show 2 columns - the report is fine when
I designed it but when attached to parent report it looses the 2 columns and
only shows single column.

Since main reports are "in charge" of paging stuff, a
subreport djoes no know when to move to the next column.

Use Across then Down snaking in subreport so the page
boundary doesn't matter.
