Hi
I'm from IRAQ and this is the first time for me to contact with the world
after 13 years of embargo and I want some help after these bad years.
I have 8 computers and I want to use one IP address to connect between these
computers by making subnet mask and my IP address are from calss C , all my
computers are work on Windows 2000 & XP.
I read the help in Windows but I didn't understand where to put the first IP
add. and where to put the subIP.
My LAN are grouped in Domain.
I don't want to use DHCP.

Try this:
PC1: 192.168.1.1
PC2: 192.168.1.2
etc.
PC13: 192.168.1.13
Subnet mask (all PCs): 255.255.255.0

Right click on "My Network Places" icon on your desktop or go to the "Start
Menu", select "Control Panel", then select "Network Connections"

Within the "Network Connection" window, double click on "Local Network
Connection"

Select "Propeties"

Select "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" within the connection items

Click on the "Properties" button

Under the General tab, select "Use the following IP address"
For IP address, enter 192.168.0.1 For Subnet Mask, enter 255.255.255.0

Hope that helps.
