Just curious - what is the best time of day to submit a question to this site
and expect a speedy response?
In other words, when are the responders (MVP's) most often responding to
questions?

Submit anytime you want. If someone has the answer, and chooses to answer
it, then they will at their convenience.

there are mvps and other responders from all over the world...so just about
any time you post or read there's someone around - whether someone responds
or not that's another story which sometimes depends on how a question is
asked.

Agreed.

I often have to think
What is the time in
Western US
Eastern US
Britain
Europe
India
etc, etc,

With changes in Daylight Saving in all countries it can get difficult.

Here in Australia, I find the early mornings better because of more response
from Western US (GMT-8) compared to Australian Eastern (GMT+10). So they are
18 hours behind or another way of putting it is 6 hours ahead, but
yesterday. And Eastern US is 9 hours ahead, but yesterday. So 10 am here is
4pm in Western US and 7 pm in Eastern US

Fortunately, I live in the Twilight Zone so real time has no effect here.

No, before moving to the Twilight Zone, I lived in the Pointless Forest with
my trusty dog Arrow.

Thanks for all the responses! Wow!
One thing though - You guys crack me up! : )
Thanks for the morning laugh!
2 questions, Rob -
1)Why "Crash"?
2)You mentioned how a question was phrased was a qualifier for answering
questions. Do you have any tips to phrase our questions?

Thanks again for the info and the laugh!
Have a great day! : )

Crash is from the "olden" days when I was adventuresome enough to
addictively load any piece of beta software I could get my hands on...in
W95, so I was continously crashing my machines and having to reformat on a
monthly basis. AKA Crash Gordon (like Flash Gordon - from ancient times) :-)

Kathleen posted good links on how to ask a question.

Here's how not to ask;

Last friday night while my walking my dog...blah blah blah blah...now my
program doesn't work.

:-)
