I am running Outlook 2007 under Vista . . . also Microsoft Word 2007.

The spellcheck does not work in my outlook email messages . . . I can type
all sorts of gobbly-gook (for instance, "erqw30uavoiuwer") . . and the
spell checker says "spell check completed" . . . but does NOT find ANY errors.

The speller checker works fine in Microsoft Word 2007 . . . but does not
work at all in Outlook 2007.

What gives?

How to fix it?

Thanks for anybody's help!

Hi Brian

I posted my question in THIS category because nobody responded to my post in
another category.

I therefore concluded that I had probably put my question in the wrong place
the first time.

Do YOU know the answer to my question?

It would seem that you have (apparently) now personally read my question
TWICE . . . at least enough to tell me to stop asking it.

Strange to receive such a rude brush-off . . . at a complete absence of
helpful response.

Hmmm?

Do YOU know the answer to my question?

Is your Outlook 2007 a part of the same suite as the rest of Office?

How was it rude? I didn't call you names, I wasn't pejorative in any way
and I said "please". Very polite.
