Subject Line empty alert

Is there a way to have Outlook 2003 alert me if I attempt to send an email
without giving the message a subject? If not, there certainly should be.

Along the same lines there should be a radio-box that allows me to
automatically have Word and PowerPoint spell-check before a document is sent
to the printer...

There is no such feature, but you can build it in with a little VBA code:

(ByVal Item As Object, Cancel As Boolean)

If Item.Subject = "" Then
Cancel = True
strMsg = "Please fill in the subject before sending."
MsgBox strMsg, _
