hi,

is it possible to color subject lines if they meet a specific condition. I
have used filters and flags but i need to color subjects from my boss if it
contains the word "appraisal".

I do not want to filter it to another folder or flag it.

Yes this is possible. Please review the article specific to the version of Outlook you are using to
perform this feature:

193980.KB.EN-US OL2000: Color Organize Feature May Produce Unexpected Results
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;193980

In Outlook 2002/2003

1. Open Outlook, go to the "Tools" menu and click "Organize"

2. Click "Using Colors", click a color, and then click Apply Color.
