I hope someone can help me. I have created subforms in my forms, in which
there are 190 records. I would like to imput different information on each
subform as each form has different information in it. But when i imput, say
1990 on the suborm on record 1, it carries it over to all of the subforms on
all of the records. And any change that is made on a subform, it
automatically changes it on all of them. I do not want them linked together,
the subforms. How do i imput different information on the different subforms?

a data entry form usually displays records from a single table. a subform
usually displays records from a different table, that are related to the
record in the main form. in other words, a mainform/subform setup usually
models two tables that have a parent/child relationship.

how many subforms do you have in your main form? is each one based on a
different table? how are those tables related to the table the main form is
based on?
