We have: Access 2k, Win98

A user here used to put a subform in his forms fairly
regularly. Then he did an update to Windows (and possibly
to Office, he is not sure), now suddenly, when he puts a
subform in his form, he gets an error message. The
message tells him:

"Your code contains a subtax error, or a microsoft access
function you need isn't available."

Then it tells us to "correct the MS Access Utility Add-in
or the file AcWzLib." And then it warns us to "delete the
Windows Registry keys for the MS Access Utility Add-in and
AcWzLib"

I think that's a bit much. Can someone help?

i think you mean syntax error, not subtax error.

if i were you i would try uninstalling and then
reinstalling microsoft access
